You can find Bharadia Engineering Industries at 9 Patel Colony, right on Pandit Naheru Marg in Jamnagar. It’s a decent spot, though parking can be a bit of a headache during the middle of the day. Our workshop has been here for years, and it's full of the typical tools and machines you’d expect in an engineering place. There’s always a bit of iron filing on the floor and the smell of cutting oil in the air. We aren't exactly a high-tech facility, but we have what we need to get the jobs done. The office is just a small desk near the front where we keep our logbooks and a telephone that rings more often than we’d like. Most of our day is spent at the lathes or welding stations. It's hot work, especially during the Gujarat summers, so we drink a lot of water and keep the ceiling fans on full blast. We’re a small crew, mostly just guys from the neighborhood who know their way around a machine. We don't spend much time on paperwork if we can help it. Things can get a bit disorganized when we have several projects going at once, but we always find what we need eventually. It’s just a honest day's work for us. We like the location because it’s close to everything we need, even if the traffic on Pandit Naheru Marg gets a bit loud. We usually lock up around six and head home.
