Hindustan Forging is situated at unit number 8 in the Ashapura Estate, over in Udyognagar. If you’re looking for us, we’re right behind the Bhagvati Hotel. We’ve had Post Box No. 726 for a long time now. The workshop is loud because that’s the nature of forging. There’s the sound of hammers and the heat from the furnaces. It’s not a place for someone who likes peace and quiet. We’re usually covered in grease or soot by the time lunch rolls around. We don't have any polished showrooms. Our work is out there on the floor where the metal gets shaped. We take the raw pieces and turn them into what’s needed, one at a time. It’s heavy work and it makes your muscles ache, but it’s what we know how to do. We’ve been in this corner of Udyognagar for years and we’ve seen businesses come and go, but we just keep our heads down and keep the fire going. We don’t spend money on big ads or fancy signs. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve seen our trucks around. The office is just a small corner where we keep the ledger and the phone. We don't pretend to be anything we aren't. We’re just a group of people who work with metal and try to do a decent job every day. It’s hot, noisy, and dirty, but it’s our trade and we’re used to it.
