The Essar Oil Refinery in Vadinar is where we spend our days. It is out in Jamnagar, Gujarat, and the environment is very industrial. It is a massive place, but our office is just a small, practical spot inside the complex. There is a lot of dust and wind out here, so we are always cleaning our desks. You can see the big structures and pipes from our window, which is quite a sight. We aren't a group of people in suits. We usually wear work clothes because that is what the location requires. The work we do is very routine—tracking shipments, managing paperwork, and making sure the records are updated. It’s a long way from the city, so we have to be very organized. If we forget something, it’s not easy to just go and get it. We eat our lunch together in the small break area we’ve set up. The heat in this part of Gujarat can be pretty intense, especially in the middle of the day. We keep the fans going and just push through. There’s a lot of activity outside with trucks and equipment moving, but inside our space, it’s mostly just the sound of us talking and the hum of the electronics. We don't have time for anything flashy. It’s a hardworking environment. We just focus on being here every morning and getting the day's tasks finished. That’s just the Vadinar way for us.
