Sun Metal Cast

Sun Metal Cast is tucked away in Phase-ii of the GIDC in Dared. If you are looking for Plot No. 598, that is where we spend most of our time. It is a pretty standard industrial area, so there is nothing too special to look at from the outside. We do metal casting here. It is hot work and there is always a bit of smoke or steam in the air when we are pouring the molten metal. We have got a small crew and most of us have been working here since the place first opened up. We do not spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork if we can help it. Usually, we are out on the floor making sure the molds are set right. Dared can get pretty crowded with all the traffic, but we have gotten used to the noise over the years. The workshop is not the cleanest place in the world, but it is where the real work gets done. We handle different kinds of metal depending on what is needed that week. It is a lot of physical labor, lifting things and moving them around the yard. Sometimes the machinery acts up and we have to fix it ourselves before we can keep going. We do not have a fancy showroom or anything like that. Just the shop and the storage area. It is just a regular local business trying to keep up with the daily schedule.
