Patel Steel

Patel Steel is over at Plot No. 562dared in the Gidc area. It is a big open space because we need the room for all the steel beams and rods we keep on site. If you come by you will see the crane moving things around most of the morning. It is a loud place with the sound of metal hitting metal and the trucks idling by the gate. We have a small office near the front where we keep the records and talk to the drivers. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon so we try to get the heavy outdoor work done early. We don't have any air conditioning in the main shed so it stays quite warm in the summer months. The guys are used to it and they just keep moving. We handle all sorts of steel orders and sometimes the pieces are very long and tricky to load. We have a few dogs that hang around the gate and we feed them leftovers from our lunch boxes. It is a simple setup but it works for us. We have been in this location for a while and we know all the regulars who come by for supplies. We don't spend money on decorations or anything like that because the steel takes up all the space anyway. It is just a regular local business where we work hard and go home tired.
