Kotak Securities Ltd is located out here in R O Kharain, near Miran Sahib. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the main parts of Jammu city, but we like it here in the R S Pura tehsil. The office stays busy with people from the surrounding villages and the local town area. We spend most of our time looking at charts and helping people with their trading accounts. It gets a bit dusty around here sometimes with the road work and the local traffic, but the office inside is kept decent enough for work. My family has been in this district for generations, and setting up this branch felt like a good way to stay close to home. We don’t do anything too complicated, just the usual buying and selling of shares and managing portfolios. Sometimes the internet acts up, as it does in this part of the country, but we manage to get things sorted eventually. People mostly come in to ask about their holdings or how to start a new account. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't have any big corporate signs or anything flashy. Just a regular office where we drink a lot of tea and talk about the market trends. If you are passing through Miran Sahib, you can usually spot us. We aren't hard to find if you know the landmark. It's just a normal day-to-day business helping out the locals with their finances.
