You can find us at Adecco over in Nanak Nagar, Jammu. We are at 105 2, which is easy enough to locate if you are familiar with the area. Jammu has its own pace, and we try to keep up with it. The office is a straightforward place. We have some desks, chairs, and a computer that’s a bit slow but gets the job done. We spend the day talking to folks looking for employment. It can be tough sometimes, but we try our best to point them in the right direction. The atmosphere here is pretty relaxed. We aren't wearing suits or anything. Usually, it's just jeans and a shirt. We take a lot of tea breaks, especially when it’s cold outside. Nanak Nagar is a nice neighborhood, and we have been in this spot for a while. The walls have a few posters and a calendar that’s usually a month behind. We don't have a big fancy lobby. If you walk in, you’re pretty much right in the workspace. We listen to people’s stories and see what kind of skills they have. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of typing. We just want to help the locals find something steady. It’s a small team here, just a few of us trying to make things happen for the community in our own quiet way. We don't have all the answers but we try to help out.
