Axis Bank

We’ve been here at H No 116 in Sector 6 14 for a while now. Nanak Nagar is a busy spot, and being part of Axis Bank means we see a lot of people from the neighborhood every day. Some people just come in to ask a quick question about their passbook or how the new machines work, and that’s fine with us. It gets pretty crowded in the mornings, especially when it’s the start of the month. The branch isn't fancy, just a regular office where we handle the usual money stuff. Jammu weather can be tough, so the air conditioning is usually running full blast during the summer months. Most of us living nearby know how the traffic gets around here, so we try to get things done quickly so people can get back to their day. It’s mostly just hard work and keeping track of numbers. We don't have a big fancy lobby, but there are enough chairs if you have to wait. If you’re walking over from the main road, it’s not hard to find us. We’ve seen the area change a bit over the years, but the bank stays pretty much the same. People come in, do their banking, and leave. Sometimes we have a chat if it’s quiet, but usually, it’s just the sound of counting machines and pens clicking. That’s how it goes here in Jammu. We just focus on what needs doing for the folks around Sector 6.
