People usually find us at 774 22A here in Chandigarh without much trouble. We have been in this spot for a while now, and the office has that lived-in feel you get when a lot of paperwork moves through a space every day. It is not some fancy corporate showroom. We have desks, chairs, and several filing cabinets that are probably too full, but we know where everything is. Most days start with the same routine of getting the computers running and checking the messages left from the evening before. Dealing with life insurance means we talk to a lot of people about their families and what they are planning for. It can be a lot of talking. Sometimes the office gets a bit loud when everyone is on the phone at once. We share the space pretty well though. Outside, the street gets busy around lunch, and you can hear the traffic if the door stays open too long. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the stacks of forms get ahead of us. It is just the way things go when you are busy. The staff here mostly lives nearby so we know the neighborhood well. It is a practical place to work and we just get on with the tasks. No one wears fancy suits unless there is a specific reason for it. We just want to get the entries right and make sure the files are up to date before we head home for the day.
