Era Constructions I Ltd

Up here in Jammu, near the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University in Katra, is where you will find Era Constructions I Ltd. The exact spot is Kakarial Pendal. It is a bit different working out here compared to a big city. The landscape is beautiful, but the weather can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We have our setup near the university because that is where the work is. It is a practical site office, mostly. Lots of dust, some muddy boots near the door, and the sound of machinery in the distance. We spend most of our time coordinating things for the construction projects. It is not the kind of place where people wear suits. We wear what is sensible for the site. Katra is a busy place with all the pilgrims, but Kakarial is a bit further out, so it is slightly quieter. The air is fresher here, though. We have got a small team and we all know each other well. We share meals and talk about the progress of the day. There is a lot of coordination involved when you are building in this kind of terrain. We do not have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you will probably just see someone with a clipboard or a laptop trying to check the latest measurements. It is a long way from the big city head offices, but we like the work we do here. It feels real and useful to the local area.
