You can find Dnyansamarth Agro Producer Company Limited out at Gat Number 51. We are in Hatadi, which is part of the Ghansawangi Taluka in Jalna. It is a very rural spot, surrounded by fields as far as you can see. The office is right there on the post at Hatadi. We started this because we wanted to do something for the local farmers here. It is not a big operation. We have a small building with a tin roof that gets pretty loud when it rains during the monsoon. Most of our day is spent talking to people who come in from the nearby villages. We help them with their produce and try to get things organized. Jalna can be very dry, so water is always on everyone’s mind. We do not have fancy furniture or a reception desk. It is just a couple of benches and a table where we do the paperwork. My brother handles most of the accounts while I talk to the growers. We have lived in Hatadi all our lives, so we know the land well. It is hard work and the days are long, especially during the planting season. But we like being part of the community here. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep the business going as best we can. It is just a small local effort for the people around us.
