Zaffrani Punjabi Zaika

We are located at booth number 104 in Chotti Baradari, right here in Jalandhar City. It is a small spot, but it suits us just fine. Being near PIMS hospital means we get a lot of people coming in who are either visiting patients or working long shifts at the hospital. We try to keep things simple because people are often in a hurry or have other things on their minds. The name on the sign is Zaffrani Punjabi Zaika, and we focus on the kind of food we grew up eating. We do not have a big seating area, so it gets a bit tight when more than five or six people come in at once. Usually, someone is outside handling the tandoor while another person is inside taking care of the billing. It is a small team, mostly family and a couple of helpers. We do not have a fancy menu with photos. It is just a list of what we have that day. Jalandhar can get very cold in the winter, so the heat from the kitchen feels good then. In the summer, it is a different story, and we all just try to stay hydrated. We have been in this booth for a while and the neighbors all know us. We do not do any advertising. People just see the smoke from the tandoor and stop by. It is a practical way to run a business.
