Aar Kay Vaishno Dhaba

Aar Kay Vaishno Dhaba is on Nakodar Road in Jalandhar. We are located near Nari Niketan, which is a big landmark around here. Our dhaba is a simple roadside eatery for people traveling or working nearby. We have those typical wooden benches and tables that you see in many dhabas. It’s a vegetarian place, so we don't serve any meat at all. The kitchen has a big tandoor where we make fresh rotis all day long. You can see the fire and the smoke while you wait. It’s not a fancy air-conditioned place, just some fans on the ceiling to keep the air moving. Nakodar Road is always busy with trucks and buses, so there is a lot of noise and dust outside. We try our best to keep the dining area clean. The menu is quite small, just the basic dishes like dal and sabzi. We don't have fancy plates, just the steel ones that are easy to wash. A lot of drivers stop here because they know the food is simple and the prices are okay. We have been running this place for a long time. We just do the work and serve the people who come in from the road. It gets very hot near the tandoor in the summer, but we keep going.
