Bhaj Govindam Restaurant

You can find us on Garha Road in Jalandhar City. We are very close to the Medical College, so we get a lot of students and hospital staff coming in throughout the day. The restaurant is a fairly simple place. We’ve got rows of tables and a kitchen that stays busy from morning until night. It’s not the quietest spot because Garha Road is always full of rickshaws and cars. We don't have any complicated decor or soft lighting. It’s just a bright, functional space where you can sit down and have a meal. The menu is written on a board and we have some printed ones too, but they're mostly the same old favorites. We see a lot of people who are visiting patients at the college hospital, so they're often in a hurry. We try to get the food out as fast as possible. Sometimes when it's raining, the entrance gets a bit muddy, but we try to sweep it out. The staff are just regular locals who know the menu by heart. We don't do anything fancy like online bookings or delivery apps much. Most people just walk in. It’s been a part of this street for a while now. We’ve seen the college grow and the road get busier. It's a humble business, nothing more. We just focus on keeping the kitchen running and making sure there’s enough seating for the lunch rush. We keep a few jugs of water on every table to save time.
