You can find us at E85 in the Focal Point Extension in Jalandhar. This area is full of factories making all sorts of things, so there’s always a lot of smoke and noise in the air. We focus on tool manufacturing. It’s dirty work, to be honest. Your hands are always covered in black grease or metal shavings by the end of the shift. We have some old machines that still work better than the new ones we bought recently. The workshop is a bit cluttered with half-finished tools and crates of steel. We don't have much of a front office. If someone wants to talk, they just come onto the shop floor and find us. We don't wear uniforms, just old clothes that we don't mind getting ruined. Jalandhar gets very cold in the winter, so we sometimes light a small fire in a tin bucket to keep our hands warm while we work. In the summer, the fans just move the hot air around. We’ve been making tools here for years and we don’t plan on changing much. We just follow the same process that has worked for us. It’s a tough business and the competition is high, but we just stick to what we know. There’s a tea vendor who comes around twice a day, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. We just keep our heads down and get the orders out. It’s just how things go in the focal point.
