R N Overseas

Our place is located at 288-269 in Shivaji Nagar, which is part of Basti Danishmanda here in Jalandhar. R N Overseas has been in this neighborhood for a good while. It’s a bit of a maze getting through these streets sometimes, but we like it here. The office is just a regular room in a row of buildings. We don't have any big neon signs. Usually, we just keep the door open to let some air in. It gets quite warm in the summer, so we have a few fans going all day. There are a few of us working here. We handle a lot of paperwork and phone calls. It isn't a high-tech operation. We still use a lot of ledgers and physical files because that’s what we’re comfortable with. Jalandhar is a city that never really stops, and Basti Danishmanda is always lively. We know the neighbors well, and sometimes we stop for tea together. We don't really have a big mission or a vision statement. We just want to do our jobs right and make sure everything is handled correctly. It’s a practical life. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when we are busy, but we always find what we need eventually. It’s just how we run things in our little corner of the world. We don't need much more than a desk and a working phone to keep things going.
