Wood City

Wood City is located on the G T Road in Kartarpur, which is in the Jalandhar district. This whole area is really well known for all the wood furniture shops, and we are right in the middle of that. Being on the highway means there is a lot of movement all day long. We see all sorts of people, from truck drivers to families on a road trip. It’s a very practical kind of place. We don't have a fancy office or any corporate polish. It’s just a building on the side of a busy road. The traffic noise is something you just get used to after a while. We spend a lot of time dealing with the dust that comes off the G T Road. It’s a lot of work just keeping the place looking decent. We have a small staff of local people from around Kartarpur. We don't really have a big story to tell. We just opened up here because it’s a good spot with lots of people passing by. Some people come in to take a break from their long drive. We try to make sure they have a place to sit and something to eat or look at. It’s a simple business, nothing more. We just show up every morning and get things ready for the day's travelers. It’s just a part of the daily life on the highway. We've been here for years now and it hasn't changed much.
