Verma Industries

Verma Industries is based out of unit C-5 in the Sports & Surgical Complex. It’s a bit of an interesting mix in this area because you see everything from cricket bats to medical tools being made in the neighboring units. Our space is mostly dedicated to manufacturing and storage. It’s a practical setup with workbenches and some specialized machinery. We aren't a big corporation with departments; most of us end up doing a bit of everything, whether it's checking the quality of a batch or packing boxes for shipping. The complex can get quite busy during the middle of the week with trucks loading and unloading right outside our door. We’ve been here for a good while and have gotten used to the rhythm of the place. It’s not the cleanest environment—there’s usually some scrap or dust from production—but that’s normal for an industrial unit. We don't spend much time in an office; most of the day is spent on the floor making sure the machines are running right. If someone calls, they usually talk to whoever is closest to the phone. We don’t have a script or anything like that. We just tell people what we can do and how long it will take. It’s an honest way to run a business. We mostly keep to ourselves and focus on getting the orders out on time. It’s just a group of people working hard in a small unit.
