If you head into the Industrial Area and look for Dada Colony, you will find Smith Tools Co. We have been using Post Box No. 435 for a long time, back when mail was the only way to get things done. The shop is full of the smell of oil and cold metal. We deal with tools every day, and our hands usually show it. It is a gritty kind of work, but we enjoy it well enough. The building in Dada Colony has seen better days, and the roof leaks a tiny bit when it pours, but it is home to us. We have drawers filled with every kind of wrench and cutter you could imagine. Some of the equipment we use is older than the staff, but it still runs better than the new stuff sometimes. We do not have a website that looks like a magazine. We just have a counter where people come to talk about what they need for their own shops. Often, someone will come in with a broken part and ask if we have a tool that can fix it. We spend time looking through our shelves to find just the right thing. It is a slow process sometimes, but we are not in a massive rush. We just want to make sure the tools we put out are the ones that actually work for the job people are doing.
