If you are heading down Nakodar Road in Jalandhar City, you will find our small place. We are quite close to Jyoti Chowk, which is always a hub of activity with people rushing to and from the markets. Jalandhar is a busy city, and being in the 144001 area means there is never a quiet moment. We've been at this spot for some time now, just doing what we do. It is a Vaishnoo dhaba, so things are kept a certain way here. The street outside is usually full of rickshaws and cars honking, but once you step inside, it feels a bit more grounded. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It is just a kitchen and some tables for people to eat. Sometimes the supply trucks take forever to navigate the narrow parts of the road near the chowk, which can be a headache. But we manage. The staff here are just regular people from the neighborhood. We don't have big signs or anything too flashy. Most people find us because they are already in the area for work or shopping. It is just a straightforward business on a busy Jalandhar street. We focus on the daily chores, cleaning the floors, and getting the stove going. It is hard work but it keeps us going. Being near Jyoti Chowk defines a lot of our day-to-day life because of the constant flow of people moving through the heart of the city every single day.
