We’re located at 490, New Model House. S R Tweezer Works is a small operation, and we’ve been at this for a long time. Making tweezers might seem like a simple thing to some, but there’s a lot of fine work that goes into it. We spend our days at the benches, focusing on the details of the metal and making sure the points meet up just right. It’s quiet work for the most part, though the machines make their usual noise. The neighborhood around New Model House is where we’ve set up shop, and it suits us well. We aren’t interested in being a massive corporation. We’re just a group of people who understand how to work with small tools. When you come by, you’ll see we don't have a big sign or a fancy lobby. It’s just a workspace where the actual manufacturing happens. We take pride in the fact that we do things by hand where it matters. Sometimes we get orders that keep us here late into the night, but that’s the life of a small business. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. People find us because they need tools that don't break the first time you use them. It’s steady, honest work that we’ve been doing year after year. It’s just us here at number 490, doing what we know. It is not fancy, but the work is solid and that is what counts for us.
