Ranjit Singh & Sons

We operate out of 03 Parkash Avenue on Mithapur Road. My father started this, and now we all work here at Ranjit Singh & Sons. Alipur is where we’ve always been. The building isn't new, but it’s sturdy and serves us well. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. Most of our space is used for storing materials and doing the actual work. It’s a family thing. We argue sometimes about how things should be done, but in the end, we get it finished. The neighborhood knows us. People walk by and wave. We have a lot of old tools that my grandfather used, though we use newer stuff now too. The driveway is a bit bumpy. We mostly deal with local folks who need help with their projects. It’s honest labor. We don't have a big marketing plan. We just do the work and hope people like it enough to tell their friends. The morning starts early with some tea and a look at the list of things to do. By the afternoon, the place is usually a mess of activity. We clean up before we go home, but by the next morning, it’s busy again. Being in Alipur on Mithapur Road feels right for us. It’s our home and our livelihood. Just a family trying to do a good job every day without any big corporate talk or unnecessary complications.
