Ranam Industries

Ranam Industries is located right on the Chogettie Bye Pass, along the G.T. Road Bye Pass. It’s a spot where you can always hear the roar of heavy trucks zooming past on the highway. The dust from the road tends to settle on everything, so we’re constantly wiping down the benches and the machinery. The building itself is a large, open shed-like structure that gives us plenty of room for fabrication and assembly. It gets quite loud inside when the saws are running or when we’re moving heavy steel beams around. We don't have a fancy office; just a small partitioned area with a couple of chairs and a fan that squeaks when it’s on high. The floor is stained with oil and marked up from dragging heavy parts across it. Most of our day is spent in work clothes, dealing with the heat and the physical demands of the job. We have our tea breaks out by the main gate, watching the traffic go by. It’s a very functional environment. We don’t use any high-end marketing or have a polished front desk. If you want to talk to us, you usually have to shout over the noise of the machines or wait for a break in the work. It’s a gritty, honest place where we just focus on getting the industrial work done and keeping the production moving along. There’s always a lot of heavy lifting involved and the days are usually long.
