Picnic Spot

Starting up here at shop number 20 in Sehdev Market was quite a process. We’ve been in Jalandhar City for a bit now and it’s mostly just us doing what we do every day. People usually find us easily because the market is a busy spot. It gets a bit loud outside with the traffic and the shoppers walking by, but that’s just how it is around here. We open up early and try to get things ready before the main rush starts in the afternoon. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit slow, especially when it rains hard and the streets get messy, but we stay open regardless. We don't really do much fancy stuff, just keep the place running and talk to the folks who stop in. Most of the people coming through are regulars from the nearby streets or people working in other shops around the market. It feels like a small community even though it's right in the middle of Jalandhar. We’ve seen the market change a bit over the years, some shops closing and new ones opening up, but we’re still here in the same spot. If you are walking through Sehdev Market, you’ll probably see our sign. It isn't anything too big, but it does the job. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure everything is handled for the day before we head home in the evening. It’s a simple life running a business in this part of town.
