New Aar Kay Vaishno Dhaba

Our dhaba is located on Kapurthala Road in Jalandhar City. We are pretty close to the Surgical Complex, so we get a lot of workers and truck drivers coming through. It is a Vaishno dhaba, which means we only do vegetarian food. We have been here for a while now. The building is just a regular structure on the side of the road. Inside, it is just tables and benches. We don't spend money on fancy menus or uniforms. Most of our customers just want a quick, heavy meal before they head back to work or continue their drive. The kitchen is always going. We make a lot of rotis and dals every single day. My brother and I run the place mostly. We have a few boys who help with the cleaning and serving. It is a noisy place sometimes because of the trucks outside and the clattering of plates. We don't really have a philosophy or anything like that. We just cook the food and sell it. If you are looking for the Basti Bawa Khel area, we are easy to spot. It is a simple life running a dhaba. We open early and close late. We see a lot of the same drivers every week. They know what to expect when they sit down. It is just plain, honest food for people who are working hard. We try to keep the tea hot and the food fresh.
