National Chick Chick Dhaba

If you’re driving down 120 Feet Road in Jalandhar, you’ll find National Chick Chick Dhaba near St Soldier College. The area is Basti Mithu. We are a dhaba, so things are pretty casual here. It’s the kind of place where students from the college come when they’re tired of their hostel food. We stay busy because of the location. There’s always someone stopping by for a quick bite or a proper meal. The kitchen is always going, and you can usually hear the sound of the tandoor or the pans clanking. We don't have fancy decorations or anything. It’s just tables, chairs, and good food. I’ve been running this place and it’s a lot of work, but I like the bustle of 120 Feet Road. We get all kinds of people, from truck drivers to families living nearby. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. It’s just a dhaba where you can sit down and eat without any fuss. Sometimes the service is a bit slow when we’re packed, but we try to keep up. My staff are local guys who know the menu by heart. We just want to make sure no one leaves hungry. It’s a simple goal and it keeps us going every day from morning until late at night. We clean the tables as fast as we can and try to keep the water pitchers full. You can see the traffic passing by outside the window while you eat. It’s just a normal spot for a normal meal.
