Narang Vaishno Dhaba

If you ever find yourself at Ambedkar Chowk in Nakoder, you’ll likely see us there. Narang Vaishno Dhaba has been sitting at this spot in Jalandhar for quite some time now. The pin code is 144040, and it’s a place where the roads cross and things always seem to be moving. It’s not a quiet area, that’s for sure. We spend our hours mostly dealing with whatever comes through the door. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the trucks go through the chowk. Other days, we can barely keep up with the cleaning and the work. Nakoder is a small place but Ambedkar Chowk stays busy enough to keep us on our toes. We don’t have any big corporate goals or anything, we just open up, do the work, and close when it’s time to go home. The building isn't brand new, and the paint might be peeling in a few spots, but it’s ours. Jalandhar weather can be tough, either too hot or too rainy, but we stay put right here. It’s a simple life at the dhaba. We know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers around the chowk. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside and we have to wipe everything down again. It’s just how it is when you’re located right on a busy junction like this one, watching the world pass by Ambedkar Chowk.
