Krishna Bakers & Restaurant

You can find us right at Ambedkar Chowk in Nakoder, which is a pretty loud and busy part of Jalandhar. We’ve been running this bakery and restaurant for a good number of years. Every morning, we start early to get the ovens going because the smell of fresh bread is what brings people in. It’s a simple place with some tables and chairs where you can sit and have a meal or just a quick snack. The floor is made of old tiles and it shows some wear from all the people coming in and out every day. We don’t have any fancy decorations or soft lighting. It’s just a plain room where people can eat. My staff and I are usually busy behind the counter or in the back. Sometimes when the lunch rush happens, it gets a bit chaotic and we might forget to refill the water right away, but we try to keep up. The buses and trucks outside at the chowk make a lot of noise, so it’s never really quiet here. People from the nearby villages come here when they have work in town. We have things like biscuits, cakes, and regular cooked meals. It’s just an honest local spot. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just hard work and serving the people who walk through our door every day.
