JDs (Radisson Hotel)

JDs is tucked inside the Radisson Hotel right on G T Road in Jalandhar, near the busy BMC Chowk. It’s a place where people usually come when they want to wind down after a long day of work or travel. Since we are part of the larger hotel building, we see a lot of different faces, from business travelers staying upstairs to local folks from Jalandhar looking for a good meal. The place has a bit of a pub feel with a lot of dark wood and comfortable chairs. It’s not meant to be stiff or formal. We have a bar that stays pretty busy, especially on Friday and Saturday nights when the music is a bit louder and the crowd is bigger. The kitchen is always going, putting out snacks and main dishes. We don't go for anything too complicated; we just want the food to taste right and come out on time. Our staff is used to the evening rush and we try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. The lighting is low and it feels separate from the busy traffic on the G T Road just outside. It gets a little noisy when it's full, but most people seem to like that energy. We spend our mornings getting everything cleaned up and stocked for the next night. It’s just a solid, local spot for a drink and a bite.
