Jd Restaurant

We are located right on G T Road in Bhogpur, Jalandhar. If you know where Preet Palace is, we are just directly opposite that. It’s a good spot because the road is always busy with travelers and locals going about their day. Jd Restaurant isn’t a massive place, but we have enough room for families and people stopping for a break from driving. The traffic outside can get loud, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of the kitchen and people talking. We’ve been at this 144201 address for a bit now. Running a restaurant on the highway means you meet all sorts of people. Some are in a huge rush to get to Jalandhar city and others just want to sit for an hour. We don’t have any fancy waiters in suits. It’s just us and a few helpers making sure the plates are clean and the food is hot. Sometimes the supply truck is late, and we have to scramble to get everything ready for the lunch crowd, but that’s just part of the job. We try to keep things simple. The menu doesn't change much because people usually know what they want when they come in. It gets dusty being so close to the main road, so we are always wiping down the tables and the front counter. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from morning until late at night. Most of our regulars are from around Bhogpur, but we like seeing new faces too. It's just a regular roadside stop for anyone passing through this part of Punjab.
