J. K. Industrial Corp.

J. K. Industrial Corp. is situated at E-5 in the Focal Point area, right near the G. T. Road Bypass. Being close to the bypass is helpful because the transport trucks can get to us without having to navigate through the smaller city streets. We’ve been operating from this shed for a long time. It’s an industrial setting, so don’t expect anything shiny or new. The walls are a bit stained and the floor has seen better days, but the equipment inside works exactly how it should. We mainly focus on making parts and components that other businesses use. It’s steady work and keeps the crew busy from Monday to Saturday. Usually, we start early before the sun gets too hot, especially since the metal roof here can hold the heat in the afternoon. We have a few older workers who have been with us since the beginning and they really know their way around the lathes. We don't do much advertising or anything like that; most people just know we’re here at Focal Point. There’s always a bit of grease and metal shavings around, but that’s what happens when you’re making things. We just try to keep the machines running and get the orders out the door on time. It’s a plain and simple operation without any fancy titles or complicated rules. We just show up and keep the production line moving along as best we can.
