Humma Tools.

Our workshop for Humma Tools is over at S-192 in the Industrial Area. It’s a separate setup from the engineering side, focusing more on the actual tools themselves. The building is a simple concrete structure that gets pretty hot during the middle of the day. We have benches lined up where we assemble and check the tools before they go out. It’s not a high-tech facility. We rely on old-fashioned hand tools and a few grinders to get everything finished correctly. Most of our guys have been here since we opened, so they know the routine by heart. We don’t really have a showroom or anything like that. People just come to the gate and ask what we have in stock. The industrial area is full of noise and dust, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit outside and wait for it to come back on, which gives us a chance to talk to the neighbors. We try to keep our prices fair and our work decent. There’s no big mission statement on the wall. We just want to make tools that don’t break the first time someone uses them. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves. We just take things one day at a time and keep the machines running as much as we possibly can.
