Our place is at number 400 in Shiv Nagar, right in the industrial area. It’s a pretty standard setup for this part of town. We’ve got a workspace that doubles as a storage area for everything we handle. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, as there’s always a bit of industrial grit that finds its way inside no matter how much we sweep. We spend our days mostly handling orders and moving stock around. Sometimes we are busy from the second we open the doors, and other days it’s a bit slower and we just catch up on some maintenance or organize the shelves. We don't have any big mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to make sure the orders are correct and that they get sent out on time. The people who work here have been around for a while, so we all know how the routine goes. We have a small office area where we keep the computer and the phone, but most of the time we’re out on the floor. The neighborhood is full of other small businesses just like ours, so there’s always the sound of trucks and machinery in the background. It’s a decent place to work. We have our tea together in the afternoon and then finish up whatever is left for the day. It’s just a regular business doing what it’s supposed to do without any fuss or extra polish.
