G. D. Tools & Forgings

G. D. Tools & Forgings has been sitting here on GT Road in Suranussi for quite a while now. If you know this particular stretch of the road, you already know how busy it gets with the heavy trucks and all the dust flying around. Our workshop is right in the thick of it all. It stays pretty loud inside most of the time because of the forging work. There is the constant sound of hammers hitting metal, the smell of hot steel, and the furnace going in the back. It is not a fancy place by any means, just a practical workspace where we get things done. We usually start our day pretty early before the sun gets too high in the sky, though the heat from the forge stays with us regardless of the weather. Sometimes the power cuts out and we just end up sitting outside on the bench for a bit until it comes back on. Our neighbors are mostly other industrial shops, so we all know each other well enough to borrow a tool or two. We handle a lot of heavy stuff here every day. If you come by to see us, you will probably see us covered in some amount of grease or black soot. It is just the way it goes when you are dealing with tools and forged parts. We have a small office room where it is a bit quieter, but mostly we stay out on the main floor working.
