Bharat Engineers

Our workshop for Bharat Engineers is in Nai Abadi, which is part of the Satnampura area in Phagwara. We are in the Kapurthala district of Punjab. It’s a bit of a walk from the main station, but it’s a good location for the kind of work we do. The area is mostly residential and small shops, so it’s a bit quieter than a big industrial zone. We have a small team here. We mostly deal with mechanical parts and some agricultural equipment since that’s what people around here need. The building is a simple brick structure. Inside, it’s filled with tools, spare parts, and a few old benches. We have been operating here for a long time, so the locals know where to find us. We don't do any big advertising; word of mouth usually brings people to our door. Sometimes the cows wander into the street outside, but that’s just life in Nai Abadi. We drink tea twice a day and keep the machines running. It’s not a high-tech lab, but we know how to fix things that break. We have a lot of respect for the trade. The floor is usually covered in some sawdust or metal shavings by the afternoon. We clean it up before we leave. It’s a basic, honest shop where we just focus on the task at hand.
