Competent Engineers

Competent Engineers is based at C-20 in the Sports & Surgical Complex on Kpt. Road. It’s an interesting place to work because of the mix of businesses in this complex. You’ve got all sorts of things going on around us, which makes the day pass by pretty quickly. Our unit at C-20 isn’t anything fancy. It’s a workspace designed for engineering, so there’s usually a bit of a mess from whatever project we’re currently tackling. We like being on Kpt. Road because it’s easy for transport, which is important when you're moving equipment or parts around. The complex itself is quite old and has that specific industrial feel to it. We don't have a big marketing budget or a polished front office. Most people who come to see us are looking for technical fixes, so they don't mind the grease or the noise. We’ve got our tools, our benches, and a small area for the paperwork. It can get pretty loud when the neighboring units are in full swing, but you get used to it after a week or two. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards know us by name. It’s a straightforward, no-nonsense kind of place. We just focus on the engineering side of things and let the rest take care of itself. That’s how we’ve always done it here. There aren't any big speeches or promises, just the sound of work and the goal of finishing the day’s jobs correctly.
