A K Engineers is located at No. 1212 in Urban Estate Phase 1. If you know where the Golden View Hotel is, then you’ve basically found us because we’re right near it. In fact, we are so close to the Golden View Hotel that we tell everyone to just look for that. It’s a decent area, not too crowded but busy enough for business. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now. It’s just a regular building where we do our engineering work. We don't have a big fancy lobby with a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and one of the guys will look up from what they're doing. We spend a lot of time looking at drawings and working with tools. It’s not a clean-shirt kind of job most days. There’s always something that needs to be measured or cut or welded. We try to keep things simple. We don't go in for all those corporate slogans you see nowadays. We just take the jobs as they come in and try to get them finished on time. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, and other times we might close up a bit early if it’s quiet. The neighborhood is okay, and having the hotel nearby makes it very easy to give people directions. We’re just a small team trying to do a good job without making a big deal. It’s just how we are.
