Sandhu Engineering Works

You can find us at B-1703 in the Modern Industrial Estate. This area is full of workshops and factories, so there’s always the sound of hammers or machines in the background. Our shop is a pretty standard industrial unit. We have high ceilings and a big sliding door to get the raw materials in. Sandhu Engineering Works has been around for a while, and we’ve seen a lot of neighbors come and go. We focus on mechanical engineering, mostly making parts and doing repairs for other industrial companies. The floor is usually a bit oily, and there are stacks of metal rods leaning against the walls. We don't spend money on fancy paint jobs or office furniture. The chairs in our little break area are mismatched and the clock on the wall is five minutes fast, but it doesn't really matter. We work hard, often getting in before the sun is up to beat the heat. It’s a tough job sometimes, especially when a machine breaks down in the middle of a big run. We just grab our tools and get to work fixing it. We don't have any marketing slogans. People come to us because they know we’ve been in the estate for years and we know our way around an engine or a lathe. It’s just honest, practical work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
