Basant International

Basant International is based out of No. 215 Master Tara Singh Nagar. It is a decent area and our office is just a regular building where we handle all our daily paperwork and phone calls. Usually, the day starts around nine when a few of us get in and put the kettle on for some tea. We do a lot of international coordination, so there is always someone staring at a computer screen or talking to a shipping agent about where a container might be. The rooms are filled with desks, some old filing cabinets, and stacks of documents that never seem to go away. Outside, Master Tara Singh Nagar is relatively calm compared to the main roads, which helps us focus on the boring but necessary stuff like invoices and logistics. We have a few plastic chairs for visitors, though we do not get too many walk-ins since most of our work happens over the phone or email. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the actual work to worry about that. Sometimes the internet acts up and we all have to take a break until it comes back. We just keep things moving one day at a time, making sure the orders are processed and the staff is doing okay. It is a straightforward operation without any big corporate frills or complicated systems.
