Ashu Enterprises

Ashu Enterprises is located on the busy G.T. Road, right in the Civil Lines area. We are directly opposite the Bank of India, which makes it easy for people to find us. The road outside is never quiet. There is a constant stream of trucks, rickshaws, and buses kicking up dust and making a lot of noise. Inside, we have a mix of office space and storage. We handle various goods and supplies, acting as a link between manufacturers and the smaller retailers. It’s a lot of physical work, moving boxes around and checking that everything matches the invoices we have on the clipboard. The floor is concrete, and the shelves are heavy metal, built to hold a lot of weight. Sometimes we stand at the front door just to catch a bit of a breeze and watch the traffic go by. Dealing with the Bank of India across the street means we are always running back and forth to handle the financial side of the business. It’s a practical location for a trading enterprise. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few calendars and a clock that’s five minutes fast. Our day usually ends quite late, especially when a shipment arrives at the last minute. We just lock up the shutters, turn off the lights, and head home, ready to do the same thing again tomorrow morning. It's just how we work.
