Gujarat Ambuja Cement Ltd.

Our office for Gujarat Ambuja Cement Ltd. is located on the third floor of Silver Crown Plaza, which is inside the P.P.R. Mall. Being near Goel Market on Mithapur Road means there’s always something happening outside. It’s a bit different being in a mall rather than a dusty yard, but we still handle all the cement business from here. We have units 23 and 24. It’s mostly paperwork, phone calls, and meetings with distributors from all over. We don’t actually keep the bags of cement here in the mall, obviously. That would be a complete mess. Instead, we manage the logistics and the sales side of things. The elevator sometimes takes a while to arrive, especially during lunch hours when the mall gets really crowded with people. We sit at our desks and look over spreadsheets and delivery schedules all day long. It’s a lot of coordination between the plants and the customers. Sometimes we go downstairs to get a coffee or a quick bite at the market nearby. We've got a small team here. It’s a regular office setup with computers and filing cabinets. We try to stay on top of the orders coming in from all over the region. It can get a little stressful when the demand peaks, but we manage somehow. It’s a decent place to work and the location is convenient for most of our visitors who are already in the area for shopping or market business.
