Ambuja Cements Limited

Up in Punjab, we are situated at 413, Guru Gobind Singh Avenue in Jalandhar. We are right near the Trinity Church, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. This Ambuja Cements Limited office is where we handle all the regional stuff. The winters here get really cold, so we usually have a heater going and plenty of hot tea to get us through the morning. The avenue is usually pretty busy with people going to and from the city center. Our office is a bit old-fashioned, with heavy doors and floors that have been scuffed by years of boots coming in and out. We don’t really bother with making things look perfect. As long as we can find the files we need and the phone is working, we are happy. There’s a lot of shouting back and forth between the desks when things get busy, but it’s all in good spirits. We deal with a lot of different people, from truck drivers to local contractors, and everyone gets treated the same. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just know what needs to be done every day and we get it done. It’s just a typical Jalandhar workplace where we keep the cement moving through the district without any big fuss. We’ve been here a while and plan to stay right where we are, doing the same honest work.
