Lucky Building Material

Lucky Building Material is located in Ward No. 9, right on University Road. We are pretty close to the Rikti Bypass, which is handy for the big trucks coming through. If you’ve ever been down this way, you know how much construction is going on. We have piles of sand, bricks, and bags of cement sitting out front. It’s a dusty job, and by the end of the day, everything we wear is covered in grey powder. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a small shack where we keep the ledger and wait for customers to stop by. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and people trying to fix up their own houses. Sometimes we're busy loading up a tractor-trolley, and other times we’re just waiting for the next load to arrive from the supplier. It’s not always easy keeping everything in stock, especially when there’s a rush on bricks. The road gets really loud with all the traffic from the bypass, but you get used to it. We just try to keep the stacks straight and the orders moving. There isn't much more to it than that. We’ve been in Ward No. 9 for a bit now and we know most of the people around here. It’s just a regular local business doing regular work. We close up when the sun goes down and start again the next day.
