Apex Industries

Started in Dada Colony a long time ago. The workshop at number 54 is where everything happens. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular industrial shed with high ceilings and heavy doors that rattle when the wind picks up. Most days start early before the sun gets too high. We have a small crew here, mostly guys from the neighborhood who know their way around the machines. The floor is concrete and stained with oil over the years, which is just part of working in an industrial area like this. You can hear the sounds of other shops nearby, the constant hum of the city moving around us. It gets pretty loud during the peak hours, but we are used to it. Lunch is usually spent sitting on the benches or going out to the tea stall on the corner. We don't have a big corporate office or a polished reception area. There is just a small desk with a lot of papers and an old fan that makes a clicking noise. People come by to drop off stuff or pick things up, and we just get on with the work. It’s simple, honest labor. We’ve stayed in this same spot because it works for us. The address is easy for the drivers to find once they get into the colony. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing until it's time to lock up the gate for the night. Every year the monsoon makes the roads a bit muddy, but we just put some planks down and carry on. It is a humble life here at Apex Industries.
