Ambika Institute

Ambika Institute is located at Hno 199 in Rasila Nagar, which is part of Basti Danishmanda in Jalandhar City. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it’s usually pretty quiet around here, which is good for what we do. We’ve been here for a while, and most people in the neighborhood know the house number by heart. It’s not a big corporate campus or anything like that. It’s just a regular building where we set up our rooms to help people learn. We have a few chairs, some tables, and not much else in the way of decorations. We don't really believe in spending much on fancy posters. The focus is just on the classes and the students who come through the door every day. Jalandhar can get quite hot in the summer, so we try to keep the fans running. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out and talk. It’s a very local operation. We know the families around here, and their kids often come to us. We don’t do big ads in the newspaper. Most people just hear about us from their neighbors or friends. It’s a small, practical place. We open up early and stay until the last person leaves. It’s just a steady, simple way to run things in Basti Danishmanda.
