Our little center is located at B-18/29 Jatt Pura. It is not a very big space, just a few rooms filled with computers and chairs that have seen better days. We started this because there wasn't much for the kids in this part of town to do after school. The walls are painted a plain off-white, and there are posters about different programming languages pinned up everywhere to hide the cracks. Most afternoons, the place is full of the sound of clicking keyboards and students chatting about their assignments. The street outside in Jatt Pura is quite narrow, so when the students arrive on their bikes, it gets a bit crowded near the entrance. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just sit there waiting for the backup to kick in so the screens come back to life. It’s a simple setup with a couple of whiteboards that never seem to get fully clean no matter how much we scrub them. We spend our mornings preparing the lessons and making sure the internet is actually working, which isn't always a guarantee. It feels more like a community spot than a school sometimes. People just drop in to ask questions or use a computer for a bit. It’s a lot of work keeping the hardware running, but we have been here for a while and the routine suits us just fine.
