You have to head out to Village Shahpur to find us. It is a bit away from the main city buzz, which is probably better for the students. The institute is spread out and you can see people in white lab coats walking between the buildings all day. We have labs where we teach the basics of pharmacy and how to make medicines. The air is fresh because of all the green fields surrounding the village. Sometimes you might see a cow or two wandering near the boundary wall. It is a simple place with classrooms that have seen a lot of students come and go. The desks are a bit scratched and the blackboards have a layer of chalk dust on them. In the mornings, the place is full of energy as everyone arrives for their first lecture. By late afternoon, things quiet down quite a bit. We have a small staff room where we sit and talk about the day's work while drinking tea. It is not a fancy university campus, but it has everything we need to teach. The road to Shahpur can be a bit bumpy, but you get used to it after a while. We are glad to be part of this local community and helping the young people here learn a trade that really matters. It is a slow life out here but we stay busy with the classes.
