Acme Forgings

Acme Forgings is situated over at A-14 in the Industrial Focal Point. It is a very hot place to work, especially during the peak of summer when the heat from the furnaces becomes almost unbearable. Forging is not easy work at all, and we spend the majority of our time standing around the hammers and the heat. The noise is quite loud, and you eventually just get used to it after a few months, though visitors usually find it a bit overwhelming. We have been at this specific site for quite a while now. The walls are pretty stained with soot and the floor is rough concrete. We do not have any fancy lobby or a place for guests to sit. If you come by to see us, you will see the crew in their work gear, usually covered in a layer of dust and sweat. We make different kinds of metal parts that other companies then buy to use in their own machinery. It is a lot of repetitive movement, but you really have to stay sharp because a mistake can ruin a big batch of metal. We do not have a website or any social media accounts. We just do the work and send it out to the customers. Most of our hammers and tools are old, but they work just fine as long as we keep them greased. The Industrial Focal Point is a busy place with trucks coming and going at all hours. We just focus on our own hammers.
