Vrindavan Catering Company

We run our catering business out of the area near Hri Vilas Resort in Civil Lines. It is quite close to Sevaya, so it’s a familiar spot for most people living nearby. Our kitchen is where everything happens. It’s always hot in there and someone is usually chopping onions or washing large pots. We started doing this because we like to cook for large groups and it just grew from there. It’s not like those big fancy food companies you see on TV. We are just a local team. Most of our staff are people from the neighborhood who know their way around a stove. We spend a lot of time loading up vans with warm food and driving out to different events. Sometimes the traffic is bad and we worry about getting there, but we usually make it work. The menus change based on what we can get fresh at the market that morning. We don’t have a website with professional photos. Most of our work comes from people telling their friends about us after a wedding or a party. The floors in the kitchen get slippery by the end of the shift, so we have to be careful. We just want to make sure the food tastes like home and that there is enough for everyone to eat their fill. It’s tiring work standing on your feet all day, but when the plates come back empty at the end of a party, it feels okay and worth the long hours.
