Vicky Garments

Vicky Garments is located over at No. 41 in Maharaja Colony, near the Teen Dukan area on Sikar Road. It’s a lively spot with a lot of people passing by Dher Ka Balaji. We have been here for a while, surrounded by stacks of fabric and the sound of sewing machines. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to keep a lot of material on hand. We make all sorts of garments, mostly focusing on what people in the neighborhood need for daily wear. You’ll see rolls of cotton and polyester piled up in the corners, and there is usually a bit of thread on the floor. The light in the shop isn't great, but the tailors know their way around the patterns. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our customers come in, look at the stuff we’ve finished, and decide right there. Sometimes we take custom orders if someone has a specific size they can't find elsewhere. It’s a lot of cutting, stitching, and pressing every single day. We open up early and usually stay late if there’s a big order to finish before the weekend. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep up with the demand. We don’t put on any acts; we just show the clothes as they are and hope people like the work. It keeps us busy and the neighborhood dressed, so that's enough for us.
